DAY 1 - 2 Corinthians 10:4-5

Key Scripture- 2 Corinthians 10:4-5 NIV

The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.

Have you ever taken a moment to think about what you’re thinking about? We don’t have to be victims of negative or argumentative thoughts. Through Jesus Christ, we are given power to take those thoughts captive and make them line up with the truth that is in God’s Word. We need to use the weapons that God has given us in His Word and by His Spirit. For example, you have a thought that says; “I can’t do this, I’m not good enough,” but the truth of the word of God is “I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength.” It’s your choice to either allow the lie to have the ground in your mind, or you can demolish the lie and cancel it out with the truth. Take time to think about what you’re thinking about and if it’s not lining up with God’s Word or His Spirit, then take that thought prisoner and replace it with the truth.
