DAY 30 - 2 Corinthians 4:13
Key Scripture - 2 Corinthians 4:13 (ESV)
Since we have the same spirit of faith according to what has been written, “I believed, and so I spoke,” we also believe, and so we also speak.
What do you believe about your:
- life calling
One way to assess this is to ask those closest to you to answer honestly, based on how they hear you speak of these things. Are your words full of life and hope? Do you speak with expectation of the days to come? When facing a challenge, do you speak as if all hope is lost? Believing is not the same as wishful thinking. What we truly believe in our heart of hearts will come out in the words we say. Monitor what comes out of your mouth, or if you're alone, the thoughts you think about the different situations you're facing. This is a great exercise to discover our beliefs in many areas. How do we speak of God, those in authority, our friends, ourselves?
God's plan for your life is good. He is a loving father who delights in His children. If your beliefs don't match up with what you know in your mind to be true from God's Word, pray now and ask the Holy Spirit to reveal the spirit of truth to any lies you may be believing that are keeping you from speaking life.
